    Sandro Cuccia

     

    Sandro is a native-born Italian with 21 years corporate IT experience at the DuPont Company and DuPont Pharmaceuticals where he specialized in corporate training for Macintosh, Windows and Internet users, as well as in corporate information security issues. Sandro also managed internet and intranet websites for DuPont Pharmaceuticals. 

    With 30+ years experience in photography, Sandro now owns his own commercial digital photography studio, and provides training and consulting to amateur and professional photographers in the areas of traditional and digital photography, Adobe Photoshop, and Macintosh computing. 

    In 2011, Sandro works part-time as a Lead Product Specialist at the Apple Authorized Campus Store at the University of Delaware. This position gave Sandro a valuable opportunity to guide University students, faculty and staff towards the benefits of the Apple computing experience.

    Sandro is certified by Adobe in Photoshop CS3, and holds technical certifications from Apple Computer for Macintosh and OS X training and support. He is a certified member of the Apple Consultants Network and has achieved Apple Sales Professional Recognition status.

    Sandro was a founder of the Macintosh Users of Delaware and has led lectures and workshops for the Delaware Photographic Society, Chester County Camera Club, and the Longwood Gardens. He is currently an instructor at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at University of Delaware in Wilmington (formerly Academy of Lifelong Learning) where he teaches courses and workshops on Adobe Photoshop, Traditional and Digital Photography, Macintosh and iDevice Computing. 

    Alongside his teaching activities at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, Sandro teaches at the Continuing Education Division of the Delaware College of Art and Design (DCAD) in Wilmington, where he has developed an exciting new course on iPhoneography. 

    Sandro, his wife, Assunta, and their two goldfish live in Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania.
